My name is Anna-Maria Teresa Temu, and I am the proud co-founder and Academic Programs Director of this vibrant online platform. Born into a Belarusian-African family and holding a Master's degree from Lomonosov Moscow State University, my life has been a tapestry of diverse cultural experiences, which now fuels my passion for promoting cross-cultural understanding through language education.

With a rich teaching background at esteemed institutions such as the University of Helsinki and The Ohio State University, I have developed a unique teaching approach that seamlessly blends history, anthropology, and linguistics. This holistic method is designed to provide a more profound and immersive learning experience, transcending conventional language instruction. 

My goal is to empower students with not only language skills but also a deep appreciation of the cultural and historical narratives that shape the Slavic world, fostering a true connection between language and culture.
